Correction policy
A transparent process for inaccurate or outdated information.
Reviewing a report
When a contact channel is available, reports should identify the page or announcement, explain the suspected error and, where possible, link to the official source. The editor should independently check the relevant authority's current notice.
Correcting significant errors
Incorrect deadlines, eligibility information, fees, application links or result status should be corrected or removed promptly after confirmation. If the information cannot be verified, it should be clearly marked as unverified or withheld.
Record of material changes
Material corrections should include an updated timestamp and a concise description of what changed when practical. Routine formatting changes do not require a correction notice.
No guaranteed response time
No response deadline is promised because a staffed editorial process has not been confirmed. The site owner should add a monitored contact method and establish a practical review process before inviting reports.
Read our Editorial Policy for the intended sourcing and verification standard.
What to include
A useful report names the affected page, describes the specific statement, and links to the current primary source supporting a correction. For time-sensitive information, include the relevant notice date or section when available. Please do not send identity documents, account credentials or other sensitive information. The contact form opens an email draft on your device; you choose whether to send it, and the site does not receive a report unless you send that email.
Review and updates
Reports should be checked against the authority's current material. A correction may change a date, replace a broken official link, clarify a limitation or remove a claim that cannot be verified. If sources are unclear or conflicting, the page should explain that uncertainty instead of presenting a guess as fact. Material changes should be identified where practical; routine spelling or layout edits may not need a separate note.
Submitting a report does not guarantee a requested change or personal response. Rely on the authority's own notice for application decisions and deadlines. This policy describes the intended approach; it does not establish a staffed review team or guaranteed response period.
